Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
I accept self-pay clients only. The biggest benefit to self-pay is maintaining your mental health privacy. You will also have greater control over your treatment plan.
how do I know if you can help me?
Call or email me to schedule a time to talk about your needs and how I may be able to help. The best predictor of a satisfying therapeutic experience is the relationship you have with your therapist; the more comfortable you feel with her or him, the more likely you are to experience positive change. Let’s chat and see if we may work well together.
How quickly can I get started?
I generally respond to phone calls and emails within 24 hours. If you choose to call, please leave me a voice message with your name and contact information. If you both agree you may be a good fit to work together, at this time, I can typically see you within a week for our first session.
I don't have time for weekly therapy- now what?
While making time for weekly therapy can be a valuable investment in your well-being, sometimes it's just not feasible. Depending on your needs, biweekly therapy may be appropriate. If you are not able to make it for in-person sessions at least monthly, you may be a good fit for online coaching through TAO. Please click here or contact me for more information.
