I am a licensed professional counselor with more than six years of post-graduate clinical experience.
After receiving my undergraduate degrees in psychology and gender studies at the University of Virginia, I obtained my master’s degrees in psychological counseling from Teachers College, Columbia University. I completed my internship at Drew University’s Counseling and Psychological Services in Madison, New Jersey.
I spent three years working in the Student Counseling Service at Texas A&M University before relocating to my home state of Virginia. Currently, I am practicing at the University of Richmond’s Counseling and Psychological Services.
In addition to my counseling work, I also serve as the clinical consultant for TAO Connect, Inc., helping universities and other counseling agencies across the U.S. and Canada implement telemental health into their services.
I am a licensed professional counselor in the Commonwealth of Virginia (#0701008183), state of Texas (#72594), and a National Certified Counselor (#815572). I am also a member of the American Counseling Association, Virginia Counseling Association, Association for Women in Psychology, and the National Board of Certified Counselors.
